Reinstate a record, folder, or table

Only Withdrawn items can be reinstated. When you reinstate a withdrawn record, folder, or table:

To reinstate a record, folder, or table

  1. In the Contents tree, locate the withdrawn item you want to reinstate and click Edit on the item menu button .
  2. Click  Reinstate this record / generic record / folder / table.
  3. (Optional) Type some notes about the change you are making in the box provided. The notes will apply to all folders and records being changed.
  4. Click OK.

Note that only only the selected table/folder/generic record will be reinstated;  there is no option to reinstate all of the folders and records within it at  the same time. Any withdrawn descendent records or folders must be reinstated individually (or you can use the Bulk Edit Version Control tool to reinstate multiple items).
