Saved searches
You can save a search as a search
project, which stores the following information:
- Search criteria
- Parameter values
- Table and subset with which the search was performed
- The database with which the search was performed
Note: Saved search projects
from previous versions of GRANTA MI may not load correctly.
To save a search project
- On the Search tab, in the
Search Criteria box, click
Save Search.
- Save the search project file
(searchProject.search.gmi).
The exact format of the Save
dialog and the procedure is dependent on your web browser.
To load a saved search project
Loading a project will overwrite your parameter value settings with
those in the project file. It will not overwrite your search options.
- Click Tools > Load search project
at the top of the Search page.
- Locate the project file (*.search.gmi) and then click Load
project file.
- If the project was created with a different but compatible database,
you will be offered the choice of which database to use. To select
the database to use, click Choose
database or click Load
another project.
The search is loaded and automatically run, and the results are displayed.
