Moving items subsets

Subsets are used in GRANTA MI to group records in a table with common properties together, making it easier to find the records you are interested in. Subsets can optionally be associated with a specific layout, and used to:

Subsets are defined in MI:Admin; MI:Viewer users with Edit privilege can move records, generic records, folder, and tables into and out of subsets as described below.

To add records, folders, or tables to a subset/remove them from a subset

  1. Locate the item in the Contents tree and click Edit on the item menu button .
  2. Under Manage, click  the Add/Remove ... to/from a subset option.

    The current subset membership for the selected item is shown at the top of the page; the lower list shows the available subsets.
