Information about the databases in your MI system can be viewed by users with administrator privileges for the GRANTA MI system from the Admin link in the toolbar. As well as viewing database information, you can also lock databases here, preventing them from being edited by non-administrative users.
For each database listed, the following information is shown. Click Set (at the bottom of the list) to apply any changes.
Locked? | Indicates whether the database is currently locked. A locked database cannot be accessed or modified by non-administrative users. To lock/unlock a database, select the check box. |
Key | The database key (dbkey) |
Name | The database name |
Latest Revision | The database revision ID. This allows you to see easily which version of a database is currently loaded. |
Last Modified (UTC) | The last time the database was modified or updated. This can be useful for identifying latest versions of databases under development, and test databases. The time shown here is in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) format. |
Read-only? | Indicates whether the data in the database can be edited. |
Status | The current status of the database, one of:

Details | Information about any errors encountered on loading the database. This column will normally be empty. |
